ATB dance company: our new performance team!

Due to the uncertainty of additional performance opportunities, we will not be holding auditions for a 20-21 team. 

You may be wondering, what's the difference between a performance team and competitive dance? Staying true to what we believe in, we believe dance should be an outlet for students, a way to express themselves and build confidence. With competitive dancing, we often see students become discouraged and think their dancing is only worth a score on a sheet of paper. We want to always remain a safe and positive environment, yet still know the importance of giving our students other performance opportunities besides a yearly recital. That's where ATB Dance Company comes in. Our company will perform during parades, for nursing homes, and at other community events. Students will go through an audition process similar to those they will have to attend if they decide to continue pursuing dance in their futures. Technique, attendance, and attitude in class will all be taken into consideration during the audition process.
